Street Works grew from the belief that joyful experiences of democracy can spark community-led action, and that artists are uniquely equipped to design those pathways. In 2 years, more than 5 long term community collaborations have emerged through this design practice!
Street Works does not have a paid staff, and we rely on participants to cover basic costs, and honor artists and community organizers for thousands of hours they've put into building this community.
